What is the best way to control weeds?
Effective weed control requires a combination of pre- and post-emergent herbicides, regular mowing, and proper fertilizing to establish a thick, healthy crop of grass. Our lawn care program includes all of these services on the appropriate schedule.
How long will it take to start seeing results from your lawn care services?
This depends on what services you are signed up for, the state of your lawn before we take over, and how diligent you are about keeping up with services. Mowing provides the most immediate results and can help your lawn look better maintained after a single service. Fertilization treatments take 1-4 weeks of growing to start producing visible results, and weed control often takes about the same amount of time to start seeing widespread results. Aeration and overseeding take 2-8 weeks for noticeable results. If you sign up for complete lawn care with us, we generally advise that it may take a full growing season or longer to see the results you want – good things take time, after all.
Can your lawn care services help with a patchy or bare lawn?
Yes – we would typically advise aeration and overseeding to address bare areas, and a fertilization regimen to improve the health of the established areas of the lawn and the new growth.
What is the best time of day to water my lawn?
Early morning is ideal so that the grass has time to absorb as much water as it needs but will be dry by nightfall.
